The Never Summer Mountains were so named by the Arapaho Indians because of the snowdrifts that usually linger through the summer. Spring snowmelt in the high country creates pools on the tundra, reflecting a colorful mountain sunrise.

To help extend the life of this poster, a protective UV varnish has been applied. We also recommend displaying the poster under UV glass and away from direct sunlight.
