Aspen leaves change color in the fall by reducing the amount of green pigment – chlorophyll – they produce. This allows other pigments that are present to be expressed in brilliant yellow, orange and red hues. Such color displays are dependent on specific weather conditions, including bright, sunny days, cool nights and drier soils high in iron content.

Each print is hand signed and meticulously inspected to ensure the highest standards of craftmanship. Displayed under UV glass and away from direct sunlight, this giclee print will last up to 150 years.
